A 25-year ad industry veteran and consummate strategic leader, Maria rejoined Metrics Marketing following a tenure with Images USA, where she served as Vice President, Director of Client Services, successfully heading account teams on the Smithfield Foods and Hillshire Farms business. In her role prior to that, Maria excelled as Vice President, Group Account Director for the Procter and Gamble beauty brands, Olay, CoverGirl and My Black Is Beautiful (MBIB) at Burrell Communications. Maria brings equal experience on the marketing side of the fence, having begun her career in consumer packaged goods brand management at P&G on the Folgers Coffee brand and later at RJR Nabisco on the Premium and American Classic Cracker brands. Combining this breadth of expertise, Maria masterfully leads strategic planning and implementation for the Client Services team, including account planning, market research/data synthesis, brand positioning, new product introductions, advertising creative strategy, digital/social, traditional media, experiential marketing, consumer and trade promotions, and public relations. A believer in playing as hard as the works, Maria is a foodie and a “Closet Iron Chef,” who also has an appetite for fitness, and can often be found outdoors burning calories via hiking, biking or paddle boarding along the Chattahoochee river.
