While Humana offers health insurance plans and related healthcare benefits for Medicare, individual and group health, this initiative was more about empowering consumers with the knowledge to make an informed decision, as opposed to the traditional “hard sell.”

With the advent of the Affordable Care Act and a congested market of changing healthcare providers, Metrics Marketing was charged with educating consumers in six markets in Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana, on the importance and benefits of enrolling in healthcare coverage during a key open enrollment period.

A robust community outreach strategy was developed to raise awareness of the importance and benefits of enrolling in healthcare coverage.

Our highly-trained and diverse Community Outreach Team (COT) was activated to penetrate the targeted communities at a variety of events, including festivals, parades and fairs to encourage patrons to learn about their healthcare options, drive consumers to Humana enrollment events and generate leads of consumers interested in receiving more information about the enrollment process.

Ten successful events culminated in more than 8,000 leads collected, 95,000 pieces of collateral/promotional items distributed and 380,000 impressions garnered.
